Join HHP’s Day of Empowerment: Building Skills to Create Culture, Build Community, and Find Common Ground in a Globally Diverse Society.

Tracy Davis, PhD, Professor at Western Illinois University and renowned expert in student affairs, social justice education, and identity development.
Charlie Taylor, MS, Chief of Staff, Division of Access, Opportunity, and Diversity.
A special presentation by Liz Tovar, PhD, Executive Officer and Associate Vice President, Division of Access, Opportunity, and Diversity.

This year’s focus is on Non-Violent Communication (NVC) — a transformative approach to empathetic dialogue that fosters understanding and connection. Attendees will learn NVC principles and practice them through interactive activities like role-playing and small group discussions.
