Michael Pyevich (who is doing an honors thesis in Anna Stanhewicz's lab) has been awarded a 2021 Barbara A. Horwitz and John M. Horowitz Outstanding Undergraduate Abstract Award by the American Physiological Society (APS). This award recognizes his first author abstract titled “Women with a History of Preeclampsia Have Preserved Neurogenically-Mediated Dilation in the Cutaneous Microvasculature”, based on work he has conducted in Dr. Stanhewicz's lab. He will present this abstract at the 2021 Experimental Biology Meeting which is being held virtually at the end of April.
