About
Education: Bachelors Kinesiology, Minor Psychology. Masters in Public Health (Community and Behavioral Health). My study interests have focused on preventative lifestyle changes to improve health. I've enjoyed working with a variety of populations to accomplish this: children, college students, older adults. My courses provide students opportunities to learn more about promoting health behaviors in a variety of populations and considering the variety of factors that determine our health. I come at health promotion with a public health perspective and emphasize the influences of our physical, social and policy environment on health in addition to health behaviors.
