Nate Jenkins, associate professor at the University of Iowa, continues to advance research in human physiology while earning awards that give him the opportunity to train and present.

Jess Gorzelitz, assistant professor in the Department of Health and Human Physiology, plays a key role in a national cancer initiative.

The award, which is in its fourth year, provides funding and development opportunities for tenured mid-career faculty who have established national or international reputations in their disciplines and demonstrate exceptional teaching and mentorship.

Ongoing and upcoming projects in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences will provide updated spaces for faculty and students in several departments across the college.
